I too am scared but I do desperately want to have a go on the Hulk. Every year I dream about going on it, for months before we go, then when we get there I chicken out at the entrance. If I didn't want to have a go it wouldn't be so bad, my problem is I want to but am a chicken. This year I have said I am going to, watch this space and see if I do.Who knows..........

Jan, Hulk is a great ride but a member of our party in August decided he was gonna bite the bullet and go on (he not being a big lover of roller-coasters) Well....when he came off he looked as green as the Hulk and then spent the best part of the morning being sick!!!! [xx(] At least he could say he'd done it.

Not trying to put you off because the rest of us loved it!! [msnsmile2]

Janice, I am sure I'll love it,not worried about speed, motion or anything like that. Just scared of heights and not sure about going upside down. Keep thinking I'll fall out.I love ripsaw falls and water drops, never have a problem with these, dont know why, they go high as well.

It is not necessarily a question of being afraid of roller coasters.

Some people suffer more from motion sickness than others. The Armed Forces have found that even fit young men can become disorientated and unfit to fight for a while after being subject to violent motion; and that is a major cause for potential fast jet pilots being declared unsuitable.

As a hater of roller coasters [ suffering from motion sickness] I hate the thought of you forcing anyone on a ride - I have had years of this, and I still ain't gonna do it - I do thunder mountain if I have to, I did splash once, and wanted to get out going up the hill, and was nearly crying with relief at the bottom - the fact is, those kind of rides leave me cold, get my heart thumping until I feel I am going to have a heart attack or faint, and just aren't healthy for me, I am sure.
Rides I do enjoy are mainly at Universal - I will do the woody woodpecker coaster And one at Cypress gardens that is similar.
I hate the bumpy throw you about rides [ although I love Spiderman at I of A], that brings in the sickness that spoils a good day out - I like a miander around the shops in peace, and am quite happy to do so - just sort out your day so everyone is happy - go on the rides on your own, you can get on the front and in the single rider queues then, or team up with another like couple. Compromise is necessary here

It's strange really, I cannot bear the thought of going on a roller coaster but I could spend all day on Mission Space.. I just wish that they did a return journey too, instead of leaving us high and dry!

Ellie, like you I loved Mission Space, but not roller coasters. I can deal with going fast forwards or being spun around, but not anything fat up or down. Big Thunder Mountain is about my limits [msnwink]
