Eating at Disney Hotels and Restaurants

How far in advance can you book meals at a Disney Hotel or Restaurant, we are going in July and really don't want to leave things until the last minute.

I think it is 6 months in advance but if you are going in July you can definitely book now.

I wouldn't panic too much about booking up Paula, unless you are looking for the popular character meals etc, that would be worth while. If you are quite flexible, you would "in most cases" be able to get in to one of the many choices Good luck, let us know which ones you pick and what they are like too[msnwink]

Well as you all said BOOK EARLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't.

I have only just planned our itenary and tried to book Chef Mickeys for the day we visit Magic Kingdom.........fully booked. I'm sure the girls will be pleased with the replacement though 1900 Park Fayre at The Grand Floridian to dine with Cinderella and Prince Charming.
I also tried to book The Rainforsest Cafe in DTD but was told they don't have reservations in this restaurant so we have booked to go to the one at AK[msnsmile2]

Can I get the monorail to The Grand Floridian or is it within walking distance?
