    Celebration.

Just saw Rosie talking about a trip to Celebration.

We got soooo lost in there on our way from the airport to the villa in April this year, took a wrong turn off somewhere.

It did look nice in there, but mainly residential, (and none of the residents could tell how to get out easily, wierd!)

Is it worth a visit again then? Are there any restaurants?

    Do tell.

    Paul.

I don't think I'd like to go at Halloween Heather, during the day in April was too much like the Twighlight Zone[msnscared]

You got lost too eh Leisa? It's a strange place, It took me 2 hours to get to the villa, and I've done it lots of times before.

Oh another first was, just before I got us lost in Celebration, (I'm embarassed to tell you all this,)

[msnembarrased] I Got my fantastic Chrysler 300M (not everyones cup of tea mind you) drove out of Orlando Int. Then for the first time ever, yes you guessed it, wrong side of the road. Dual carriageway with two cars coming straight at me, they were so good, they stopped in their lanes and waved me to sort it out. (I can guess what they were thinking though) There was a hump in the middle of the carriageway so I though I'd just drive over it to the other (correct) carriageway.[msnsmile2]

No, bad move it was much, much bigger than I thought it was and although I went really slowly it was like a roller coaster[msnoo]

    I've never been so embarrased.

So quite an eventful journey that

    Yes, you must go.
Celebration has wonderful restaurants, plenty of choice to suit everyone. We always have a meal here each time we go over to Orlando.
There are lots of photo's of Celebration if you have a look in the "Photo gallery"Just to give you an idea.

Thanks Lynne that looks lovely, we'll definitely try that, we always need new places to eat.

(I'll drop crumbs from the car on the way in, so we can follow them on the way out.)

Been thinking what we can do for a new Halloween expereince, Celebration sounds like a cool option[msnsmile2] Don't think Mickey's "Not so Scary" will be on the cards this time [msnwink]

Macka, we thought the same as you the first time we went to Celebration. I thought it was like something out of the Stepford wives, everything was so picture postcard "nice"

We go back every time now though, we love it there. There are some fab restaurants. I'd recommend the Market St Cafe and Antonio's [msnwink]

Heard great reports about food at the Celebration Hotel too, but not tried it yet. I really like the quaint shops (Market St Gallery is a must), and to sit in the rocking chairs by the lake and watch the world go by is perfect on a lazy Sunday morning [msnsmile]

Rosie, is the lake the place to aim for in Celebration? Concerned by all the getting lost stories [msnwink]

Head for Market St and you won't go wrong [msneek] The lake is at the bottom of that street.
