On the 192 Flea market there are quite a few inside each of the various stalls. Probably quite a lot cheaper than Disney

Every year my little girl goes to see Mary on building C in the Flea Market beside the Big Orange on the 192. We have become really good friends with Mary, her husband Hector and two daughters, such that we spent Thanksgiving with them last year. I would recommend Mary as her braids are really good and last quite a while.

Just to let you now for those who are worried about burnt scalps, Boots sell Scalp Spray which is a factor 25, I used this when my daughter had her hair braided last year.

No sore Scalps, Just a Thought !!!

How long do you leave the braids in? What sort of condition is the hair in once you take the braids out? My girls swim nearly every day at home and away and I worry that their hair will be like straw if I let them get their haur braided[:I]

My girls had there hair done when we went to cancun, just from the top of the head about 2 inches back. It was great as it was trouble free in the shower, as little monster hates having her hair brushed. Little monster fell asleep in the haridressers chair when hers was done, the place was hysterical with laughter. The condition of there hair after was little broken, I dont have it done any more as they are a lot older now and i like the way there hair looks now with the option to put it down round there face. another thing it costs a bit, and they prefer to spend it on other things, that they can keep, they are fanatic as pin trading at the moment. I also found that headaches were an issue.

They had it done once and enjoyed it, but wouldn'd have it done again.

    Hi Ruth,

I had my braids in for 6 days, I went swimming everyday before going out to the parks. When i took them out last sunday my hair was fine I just put a very conditioner on my hair and it was fine. I was worried that my hair might be like straw but i did keep putting a small amount of shampoo on the braids as I hate the feeling of dirty hair.
