    buying digital camera

Hi could anyone tell me where the best place would be to buy a digital camera please,we've found the one we want to get and have seen that Walmart do it for a saving of about £100 compared to Currys, but was thinking that maybe a proper photo/electrical shop in Florida would maybe cheaper again[msnembarrased] it's a sony so i expect the warranty and that will be ok over here? we looking to get it on the first afternoon there as the one we have at the moment is useless, many thanks again for your help.

Hi we got our camera from Best Buys which if i remember correctly is near the Florida Mall. At the time it was half the price of the UK.

Recently lost my Camera in Disney MGM, had a Canon Ixus 500. We went to Bestbuys on the Orange Blossom Trial and replaced with a Canon SD500 which is the equivelent to the Canon IXUS 700 in the UK, Excellent service and pricing very good also.

    Try Best Buys

Dave the actual camera i have my eye on is the
Sony 5.1 MP Cyber-shot DSC-T33 Digital Camera.I just thought it would have been cheaper and easier to get it over there but if it's available over the web as cheap i'm all for tat as well

There are lots advertised in the free mags you get at Walmart and the airport when you arrive.

We bought one for our son in August and Walmarts prices were better than super target. A lot of the so called camera shops are a bit of a rip off. The price savings were also not as much as I thought they might be, only about £30 but hey ever penny counts.

sams club on the 192 is cheaper than walmart but you have to be a member. i join the first day of my holiday and get my membership refunded at the end of my holiday. I have no hassell with them and got my digital camera there last year.

Remember to check the warranty. I bought a Mikon camera and it only comes with a US warranty, we checked it out very thoroughly before we bought, in case it was just an isolated case, but Sony were no better.

If you have to pay for a worldwide warranty it will add to the cost, and if it breaks down for some reason you will have to deal with the US.
