trick or treating at MK

Hi,we're now trying to get into our final preperations for our first trip to Florida and we was just wondering if anybody had any experience of the Micky not so Scary Halloween nights? we've got our costumes to get into the flow of things but we was wondering if they give out sweets to the kids as if they was properly trick or treating? as we dont know wether to take bag's for them to put the things into or wether it was just a good night with everyone dressed up.Any help on this would be greatfully received.

Not been yet, although our first Halloween party will be Friday week :-), but have read lots.

You do get given a bag on entry to MK to collect Candy in. Throughout the park are candy stations where you can pick up candy to put in your bag.

Make sure you pick up a map on your way in to the party as that will indicate all the stations, events etc...

Thanks Brizzle,we dont arrive until the 28th so we've made a point of going to MK on the 30th so as to know where we're going on Halloween night.Have a good time and thanks once again.

We went last year. they give you a small trick or treat bag, but they give you so many sweets, I took a suitcase full back home.



Everyone dresses up. you tend to feel the odd one out if you don't.

They do the parade twice in the eveing, as it might be to exhausting for the very little ones to stay up too late. We did a couple of the popular rides when the first parade was on as it tends to be a bt quieter.

Thunder mountain is great in the dark and they put a couple of cobwebs across your face as well.

We throughly enjoyed it. Its great fun for the very young to the old parents a like

There are also do trick or treat stations at Seaworld on the 29th and 30th, which don't require special addmition. They do 4 other days earlier in the month a well. So if you are thinkimg of going to Seaworld anyway, bear it in mind for the 28th .

They do give out bags but when we went I also got a small plastic witches cauldron from Walmart and Danni just carried that.

Matthew and Danni managed to collect so many pieces of candy that both of their bags were full and this little cauldron as well.

I am sure you will have a great time, the rides were really quite when we went as well.

We still had sweets in February from the trip. If you stay until the end, they end up giving you full bags of sweets as well. They also had quizzes and puzzles for the kids to search for around the park.

If you switch your day to MK for the 29th you can give the kids a dummy run down at Old Town on the 30th, from 12 till 2 in the afternoon they are having free trick or treating for the children in all the shops, apparently they can go from one store to the next to collect their candy. Or for anybody not going to the MNSSHP (we've done it and it was great fun even though it was us and our 16 year old daughter rather than youngsters.
