Book the villa first and then book the flights.
We are about to book a villa for Xmas 2006 but will not be able to book flights until January but think the villa will be booked if we wait till then.
Past 2 trips we've made we've secured the villa first.
The first time we had to change the date by 2 days when we actually booked the flights and fortunately it wasn't a problem. The last time we could only get the villa for 13 nights as the first night was booked so we booked a hotel. Fortunately the previous visitors changed their plans before we travelled and we awere able to stay the full 14 nights and canx the hotel.
It depends when you want to travel, if its peak times like easter or July/August book flights first[msnwink]
In fact if its peak times book everything well in advance at least a year to be safe[msnwink]
We`ve had a few guests for next year book our villa first then did their flights. We have also held the villa for guests for a couple of days until they got their flights sorted out for the dates they wanted.

Definately flights first.
I booked my flights a couple of weeks ago, I needed 4 seats at the cheapest time of year, and the flight I settled on only had 6 seats left, we've had to split up into two's, you can select your seats online now so I'm sure that was the case, unless some seats are left unavailabe for selction.
