K W Kools was the first place we ever visited in Florida. I must say we had a very poor experience, food was so so and service was terrible. Never went back, although others have said it is a great place to eat. Shame [msnsad]

I'm shocked! Like djdigitald we've been going since it opened. It used to be a totally different building, with more laid back theme (looked much better back then in my opinion, but there's progress for you). There wasn't much out that end of the 192 as far as I can remember and Key W Kools always stood out. It's never been cheap, but we always found food was consistently a cut above the rest of them and I've always found the service good. But then I suppose everywhere has its off days.

We went here in March. Fantastic. Had the lobster tails as starter, YUM. The waiter could not do enough for us. There were only 2 of us in our party, but he spoiled us rotten. Going back next week

I'm the same as you Tonish, i prefered the layout of the Original Key W's when the Penquin was around but like you say thats progress. I still have one of the original Menu's somewhere which i was given by a Waitress there. I will try and dig it out
