    Bomas or Ohana ?

    It's me and food again!!
We are looking to try some places we have never eaten before on our upcoming trip. We have booked for the California Grill and are now thinking about one of the buffet type places for a change.
Have narrowed it down to the two above so what are peoples personal recommendations?

I can vouch for Boma, lots of times If you have kids get them to listen to the camp fire stories.

These are very different dining and food styles and they are both very popular with our family.
O'hana is not a buffet it is family style dining ie. they bring squewers to the tables and give you what you ask from a choice of 3 meats, 1 shrimp as often as you like.
Boma is a buffet with a great deal of choice. My veggie B-I-L has this as his particular favourite.
Go on make time for them both. [:P]

Liz, arrive early for Boma and go outside and look at the animals, they have giraffe etc right up near the hotel, also the inside of Animal Kingdom Lodge has some great theming, worth a look around.

    Thanks Julie, will do.
It will be a good excuse to "down tools" early as there has been some mention of taking old clothes for doing jobs and painting!!!!!!.

Liz, don't forget that you can watch the fireworks at MK if you get a window seat in O'Hanas. The other thing is to go down and watch the water pageant on the lake around 9.35 most evenings ( times can vary for this so do check)
I am so glad you are going to both. Make sure you leave room for desserts at Bomas, they are delicious.
