Age limit on Drinking

I couldn't agree more with you more, Theres a lot I think we could learn from the US.

I couldn't disagree more. The kids in the US can get soft and hard drugs so very much more easily than they can get alcohol, which is why they have a much bigger and more widespread drug problem than the UK does!! I know which I would rather have my kids using.

In some States, if you have a party/dinner/gathering of any kind at your home, and one of your guests has too much to drink, drives off and is caught by the police, then you are also very likely to be fined, for providing them with alcohol at your residence knowing that they were driving. This tends to stop people enticing others to drink and to have "one for the road". They put the onus onto the provider as well as the drinker.

I tried using a police warrant card as ID in Planet Hollywood. Wasn't good enough and I am clearly over 21.
