Oh dear!! here we go again..... I do not agree with this person, my daughter was a waitress whilst going through uni and her wages were nothing compared to what she had to put up with, and many people forget to leave tips in this country when paying by card.

A lot of brits who go to florida are first timers who maybe don't know about the tipping custom. This unfortunately gives the impression that we brits are a tight lot, you'll have to excuse the bias but I believe we are generous by nature.
when I eat out there I always add 15% because it's the custom,But I honestly believe some of them are getting a lot more money than I am

I try to read the Sentinel every day. That was the first I've seen that was pro Brit! If I see any more, or when I see the rebutles &lt;sp&gt; I'll post 'em.
