    Sam's Club

Can anyone tell me what 'Sam's Club' is? We pass it on the 192 and i would like to be able to have a look when we go over in October. Is it a members only shop, like Costco?

Yes... it's like a typical UK Cash N Carry.

Just walk in - pay your $30 - and get your membership card. Or your can go to to samsclub.com and buy a membership online. Either way it's really easy!

On-line samsclub.com will take you to their website, there is a joining fee I think it is approx $35, it is very similar to Costco or Makro.

Has anyone taken membership there? Is it worth it, with all the other bargains to be had elsewhere? Mind you, I suppose if you have a villa you may get some of the bigger items a little cheaper.

Had a look around 'Sam's Club' this year, it is very much like Makro's. Didn't really look at the prices so can't say whether the $35 per year fee was worth it. Might look again if we needed anything specific.

You do not have to join to just have a look around. Ask at the door about a day pass. Then if you think it's worth it, you can join. This is the same for BJ's at the junction of John young and osceola parkway, next to the lowes store.
