Airline says need visa

I have just gone to book my flights for next week on the website of Thomson & it says that anyone with a passport after 26.10.04 has to get a visa direct from the American Embassy. I have been looking through these threads & it doesnt appear to be correct. My 2 children have passports issued in Dec. Will they be unable to travel?

I agree with you that it is incorrect, I renewed our passports in May and used the normal visa waiver form on the plane. That was supposed to be th eplan beacuse of the biometric passports which the US put off for a year (and likely to do again).

Don't panic, everything will be OK.

Thankyou for all your help. My blood pressure shot through the roof there. I wonder how many bookings Thomson have lost because of it
