    California Grill Contemporary Resort

We are planning to eat here when we are over in Sept.
Can anybody advise me as to the most appropriate attire for an evening here?

I believe they've now introduced a dress code of sorts, I would suggest smart casual, not OTT and not theme park casual

Forgot to say Liz if there are 4 or less of you ask for a window seat, it's worth waiting for one, and also the food is wonderful.
The waitress we had was one of the best we've ever had anywhere.
There were 6 of us the last time we went, and she never wrote a single thing down and knew exactly who had ordered what.

Thanks for the tip Caroline, we are really looking forward to it, there will just be the 2 of us so maybe we will be lucky with the window seat.

If you time your meal to coincide with the fireworks at MK, they dim the lights in the restaurant, pipe the music thru the restaurant, so you don't miss any of the spectacle.

Afterwards, the servers come to check if you would like your meal re-heated, as it's likely that you haven't been concentrating on eating while the fireworks were going off

Liz if you have a look at Disney website and go to park opening hours, just click on the date you are thinking of going and the times are displayed[msnsmile2]

I didn't realise it was quite "That" posh to be honest. Unless i am getting confused[msneek] i am sure it was the califonia grill we had a character breakfast in a couple of years ago?? Mind the food was VERY nice, but it was a breakfast buffet, so we were all parked up and ready to go!! If the scanner was working I would show you tghe pics!!! Someone hold me back from throttling my darling hubby...who I am sure WILL sort out my scanner[msnoo][msnoo]

They don't do character breakfasts in the California Grill now, maybe they used too....
Chef Mickeys is in the Contemporary and that's where they hold the character breakfasts and dinners now.
