    Citricos, Narcoosee's or Artist point

As everyone gave me such excellent recommendations when I asked about Boma or Ohana I thought I would ask again.
I am off to Florida in Nov with a girlfriend and as it is her birthday just before we go I would like to treat her to a special meal. I had thought of brunch at Rennaissence but as the Sunday will be our first full day I didn't think this was the best idea.
I thought of the California Grill as she and her hubby went there many moons ago for their 10th wedding anniversary ( when it was still 'Top of the World&#39but I have only recently eaten there ( strongly recommended) and I would like to try somewhere different.
All of the 3 above sound lovely and I wondered if anyone had eaten there and what you would recommend, bearing in mind that this is not a romantic dinner 'a deux'.

    Hiya Liz,

    A suggestion.

The Peabody hotel close to the convention centre/seaworld is a world class hotel...Allegedly. We stayed overnight as a special treat in April this year. The stay we had is another very loooong story, however I can recommend the "Dux" restaurant in the hotel. It's a very sophisticated, elegant restaurant with fantastic service. It really is for a special occasion though as it's expensive even by uk. standards.

If you're interested, DM me and I'll tell you more about it.

    Paul.

Thanks Macka, my sister is dining there when she goes over in 3 weeks, the friends they are going with have stayed there before. No doubt she will be singing it's praises then.

Citricos is fab Liz, we've eaten there a couple of times and it's always on our list of must do's.

Or Primos in the Marriott Grande Lakes really amazing food or Seasons 52 at Dr Phillips.

I can second this (mainly because we shared the same table!!) Out of the 3 I would go for Primo a Grand Lakes, very good food and really nice impressive hotel to walk around.

Well Caroline, your recommendation of California Grill was superb so where is The Marriott Grande Lakes ? Is this in the Lake Buena Vista area?
Don't really want to go all the way out to Dr Phillips when I am driving although I would love to try it when hubby is designated driver!
