GCSE results

Im sure there are many parents like us waiting for childrens results[msnscared]

We have already been through this twice as we have 2 boys at Uni, but it does not get any easier!

My daughter has taken 11 and needs 5 A-C passes to go into the sixth form of her grammar school, to say she is nervous is an understatement poor thing![msnwink]

my daughter gets hers today, she doesnt want to go to college for some reason, and she now works in Boots, cant force her, so we just support her, she has taken 9 GCSE's and i am taking her in a couple of hours to get her results, have had 2 that went through passed all and went onto college, another wanted to be a young mother[V],one couldnt be bothered with anything, hes nearly 25 now and regrets everything!!!
i have great expectations for poor little Lauren, to old for her own good, being the youngest of 6, shes always been top of the class, in everything, am just hoping she carries on like this!!!

Our eldest Rachel is off to pick her results up this morning.

Longing to see how she got on, but I'm sure she has done well.

She is planning to go to college to do A level English Lan & Lit, History, Business Studies and Spanish.

I hope everyone gets the results they need.

Good luck to all the teenagers and their poor parents, we've been through it all with our eldest (she's 21 now) but Declan is only 14 so we have it all to go through again[msnscared]

It will be our turn next year as my eldest is 15 and takes his GCSEs next year. Good luck to all teenagers and their parents as I'm sure the parents are worrying even more than the teens themselves.

Well we are out at the villa at the moment and Emma was up at 4am [:O] phoning the school who wouldn't give her any results over the phone [msnsad]even though we had already said that we would be in Florida - they have posted them to her. Hopefully, they will arrive at home tomorrow and my parents can open the envelope and then phone us.

So we have to wait a while longer yet.

I hope that everyone get's the results they want

well my wonderful daughter ................ NOT, has failed hers! so no surprises there then!
well she past 1 and the rest are E's AND F's
so am not impressed with her at all, she got in with a group of no hopers last year, and hubby kept saying she wont be like them! yeh right!
she always said she didnt want to go to college so i think she deliberately dint bother doing them properly!
a one unimpressed mum!

Hi all my daughter has just come in with her results: A*, A, 3 Bs, 3 Cs , D, so we are rather pleased with her,hope everyone gets what they want[clap][clap][clap]
