Walk around the Lake at Celebration

Near Water Mania water park on the 192 there is an intersection with lights signposted to Celebration (and also Celebration Hospital - I think ?)

This is a very direct road which goes under a flyover (417) and past some new condos on your left. Very picturesque houses with front porches on your right.
Shortly after that you will see an open car park area on your left. This is a good place to park up as the small town center is just a short walk. Brings you into the town center past the cinema and pavement fountains near the lake.

Plenty of good cafes and restaurants there.

If you look out for some buildings set back off the 192 that look as though they belong on the set of a Spiderman film (I think its' the colours that do it) Close to an 'old style' water tower then you have found the turning for Celebration.

We finally made it to Celebration this year on our 6th annual trip to Orlando! It was fairly late in the evening when we arrived so only managed a very quick look round before we went for a meal to the Town Tavern. We sat outside under the fans & had a GREAT meal!! Only trouble was we made the usual mistake of ordering an appetizer per person and a main meal. The portions were HUGE!! Quality was excellent and with the amount that we took home, it fed us all for lunch the day after - definately to be recommended

We have eaten at the Italian on the corner of Front Street a couple of times, the one that over looks the lake. (I believe it is called cafe de antonios - though I may be wrong!) The food is fantastic, a little pricey, but for a special occasion it is hard to beat.
