Walk around the Lake at Celebration

    Hi

There have been a few posts on here about walking around the lake at Celebration.

We are taking some elderly family members next time we visit, can anyone tell me how far it is, or how long it would take to walk around the lake.

    Thanks

You can walk round all the lake and also at the back of the first lake there is a walk through to a lake at the back you can also walk round. Take a look at the houses round the second lake some are rather nice with their porches and rocking chairs. Some of the restaurants at Celebration are also worth a visit.

Round the back of the main lake you can often see small wildlife. We have been within a couple of feet of two baby armadillos foraging for food, and have seen turtles and small alligators basking there in the sunshine. The complete circuit of the main lake takes about 10 to 15 minutes, walking at a fairly leisurely pace. There are benches to sit round the back of the lake.

There is actually another lake beyond this one as well, the houses here are huge, must be worth millions.<blockquote id="quote" class="ffs">quote:Originally posted by Val
