Hi Jeff, I hope all goes well for your son. I think its just as nerve racking for us parents whose offspring don't just quite make the grade. This year has been a hard slog, leaving friends behind, travelling miles each day to catch the train before the day even starts but I think sometimes the one thing that keeps him going apart from his ambition is that hopefully this time next year he wants to be able to go back to his old school and say 'I told you I could do it but you would'nt listen'[msnwink]

Our son also picked up his A levels today and has got a place at Sheffield to read a MChem with a year in America. We were very worried as he was not successful in getting a place to read medicine and was on the point of giving up earlier this year. Stuart and I are very pleased tonight that we no longer have anyone in the school system. The number of exams they have to sit now is becoming a farce. If they are going to do well they have very little free time as most is taken up with books.

Congratulations to all the young students with good results for their A levels
I think the best cure for all the peoplew who say A levels are easy now , should sit the A levels exams themselves lets see what
    Results they get
