Hi Carol, not sure about getting messenger from a cafe because as I understand it, you have to down load it onto each individual PC? I have never seen it available in Internet Cafes, but thats not to say I'm right. But you do need to take into consideration the time difference, are you going to be able to get to an Internet Cafe at the times her friends will be on line? I know I always have to ring home in the mornings so I can catch people in the UK at T Time.
Just a thought.
Diane.
MSN Messenger seems to be a lifeline for that age group. Our 12 year old daughter 'has' to be able to be in touch with her friends too!!
There is an internet cafe at the end of the 192, close to H27 that might be able to help. Alternatively does the villa you are staying in have it? Homes offered here have this on it as well as Skype and wireless networks. Another forum member may be able to help with one a little closer to Four Corners.
I always feel it's ironic you bring children to Florida... to spend time on their PCs - something they could do in England!
At Terra Verde we have a Cyber Cafe, our children spend quite a bit of time on MSN chatting to their friends back home....And the Peter Kay questions always start every conversation.
What's the weather like ?
What time is it there ?

Our son is in constant contact with his friends back home, got to get on MSN at least two or three times a day, bless. Fortunately for us we have a computer in the villa with internet access, Ray has just installed a router for wireless as well, so our eldest now sits by the pool talking to his friends and trying to make them envious![msnsmile2]

You can access the internet from the library on the 192 , I'm not sure about messenger but know that my daughter can use messenger in Marthas Vineyard library.
Thanks for your answers i think we'll have a look at the cafe at the end of the 192. Also as iam looking into buying a laptop for school that has wireless internet with it, would i be able to connect it to a line over there or would it just be best just to go to the internet cafes. [msnsmile2]

if you got to http://webmessenger.msn.com/ you can use msn messenger without actually downloading the program its just a stand alone program that lets you sign in. i use it at work where i dont have admistrator rights.
There is internet access at the UPS shop at Championsgate.
The one in the libraray is very slow and you need to book sometimes -
