Beach recommendations

Anyone got any beach or seadside town recommendations to go off a sunday i heard clearwater side was nice but dont know too much.

Clearwater is an excellent beach and well worth the visit. Very white, fine sand, turquoise sea and plenty to do including parasailing. If you're staying in Orlando/Kissimmee
it's about a couple of hours drive.
If you are in Orlando - Cocoa Beach on the east coast is closer, about an hours drive. Also Daytona Beach. Coarser sand and can be a little cooler from Atlantic breeze but great places.

Been to both Clearwater and Cocoa beach and although Cocoa was lovely, Clearwater is definately worth the drive!! Beautiful sand and sea...no competition..[msnwink]

I recommend you go further South, avoid the crowds and stay in the Englewood area as their beaches are fabulous

I love Cocoa Beach but wasnt too impressed with Daytona.

If you are looking for just a day out to the beach from Orlando then without a doubt I would say Clearwater. Much nicer in my opinion than the Atlantic side.[8D]
