I would just take the Tea & Coffee and get the other stuff over there.

You can buy all those items over there. I have seen Tetley, PG Tips and Yorskshire tea.

Travel light! You can get all the the things you mention there. When we first started going to Florida we took tea and coffee - but not any more. With all the Brits there you will have no problem finding familiar brands.

So do you have to declare tea-bags if they are in your main luggage or hand luggage? Last time we found the american tea-bags tasted like dishwater so planning to take some good old Tetleys with us this time!!

It's always best to declare any food type items and it doesn't make any difference where you're carrying them - all the luggage goes through US Customs with you on arrival.

Last villa we stayed in had supply of tea, coffe, sugar etc.
First time ever mind as the cleaners usually bin everything.

You can buy practically everything that you can buy in the UK so don't bother is my opinion.

If you like percolated coffee, and you will have a percolator in the villa, you can buy coffee bags therefore no need to buy filters etc. I just love waking up in the morning and smelling lovely fresh coffee brewing (set the timer on the machine the night before).

Having said that, nothing beats a nice cup of Tetleys, always take my own tea but get coffee when I am there. My lot mainly eat blueberry muffins in the villa for breakfast with lots of fresh orange juice.

We bought T-bags with us, as although you can buy them in Publix they are way more expensive. You can buy the cereals but they are sweeter over here, but we buy them anyway.[msnsmile2]
