    Xmas Rates 2007

What dates are the peak rates for Xmas rental? eg when does it drop off to a cheaper rate after Xmas? We have one scenario in mind, with our reunion, that maybe we will have an English Xmas, and then fly out to Florida afterwards. I was wondering how long the high rates last for, as we are trying to avoid the high rates/high flight prices. We might end up having one week high rate/one week lower rate?

edit: Perhaps I should send another enquiry to the sites above for two houses Xmas 2007 do you think?

Every owner will set their rates slightly differently, so you would be as well to send out an enquiry using the links at the top of this page, and see what results you get back.

A few days after the New Year break although some as late as the second week in Jan.

The flight prices drop off dramarically on Christmas day and (sometimes by a few hundred punds each) so that will be a tremendous saving on your overall spend. The villas not quite so much - between high and low Season there may not even be as much as a hundred pounds in it so when you divide that by the number in each villa the amount saved is not so significant.

Personally I think that's a great idea, we have travelled out Dec 28th before, having had a traditional Christmas here and then gone to Florida to the New Year and it's worked out fabulously. Who knows depending on where you stay in England you might even be extra lucky and get snow for Christmas.

Don't be afraid to put in as many enquiries as it takes to get the right experience for your family, we're quite a patient lot.

Only thing I would say is that for Christmas you will nedd to book early to secure your first choice of accommodation as often it books really early.

We have Christmas week as a peak and the New Year week as peak, the rest of Jan is low season.
Our villa was finished last December, we have also visited in January both months are great times to go to Florida.

Have a wonderful time picking villas for your holiday.[msnsmile2]

Thanks guys...I've put another enquiry in, I felt a bit bad doing another one, but as Steph said, it probably takes a few attempts at dates, with so many of us going!
