    Photo ID For Parks ?

    Hi Guys,

Whats the crack with photo ID for parks ?

We have been before and never been asked but the tickets this time came with a note saying photo ID is required ?

Surely we dont have to take the passports around the parks with us ...

Thanks in advance for any replies.[msnsmile]

We are here at all the parks now and have not been asked for ID at any of them, in Disney you hvae to put your fingers into the ticket turnstyle at the same time as the ticket, we were told this is instead of handstamping which they no longer do.

We always buy annual passes for Disney and on the odd occasion that they have not worked when putting them into the machine we have been asked for photo ID.

I seem to remember having to have photo's for Discovery Cove, but cannot remember whether we had to take them with us as well as them taking a photo for I.D.

I'd recommend getting the new style UK photo driving licences.

They are an accepted form of photo ID if needed, and are only the size of a credit card, so really easy to carry around.

You can get an application at any main post office.

Discovery Cove 'make' the photo ID while you wait. Its also linked to a credit card so you only have to wear (its on a loop for your neck) the ID.

UK photo licences are the equivalent to US ID's.

Sometimes I have been asked for ID in walmart and produced the UK licence.

Just tell the to punch in UK as the State - all US ID's have the 2 letter state prefix.

I was asked once "Where is the state UK" when I said its in Europe they said "Oh, is that nearby Florida" [V]

I was asked for Photo ID at sea world the 1st time we used the flexi tickets. As stated above, I have the UK photo driving license and that is accepted no problem. I have also been asked for photo ID when using my credit card - but not all the time.[msnscared]
