Looking on the net every few weeks can bring totally different results in prices of flights. We have found out that this can vary as much as £100 per person on some routes.
If you are after cheaper flights I always try some of the charter airlines for seat only and have had some good prices compared to Virgin and BA. For instance the same day flight with Thomas Cook airways from Glasgow was £459 (upgraded seat) and £750 with Virgin from manchester. I would assume the Manchester seat on Thomas cook would be the same. This was for peak season flights.
Like Snapper says you will get exellent value for money in sept as flights are a lot cheaper than Aug. And the weather is just as good!!!
septemeber is great to go to florida. kids have gone back to school, less traffic on the roads, no queues at parks and the weather is still excellent

We have found that flight prices vary greatly and you can still get some superb deals if you shop around and can go out of season. We would opt for September ourselves if we could go out of school holiday times. The weather is lovely, hot but not too hot and the parks are quieter than in the main summer months. I would get the kids passports renewed now, before the new biometric deadline.[msnsmile2]
