Do we need a licence?

We are going out to Fla hopefully in September, my brother in law will be coming with us. He wants to take his fishing rods and do a little fishing in the nearby rivers (not the sea) Does he need a licence of any sort? If so who does he approach to obtain one? I have tried a google search but to no avail. Any suggestions would be welcome. We will be in the Manasota Key area.

Yes, he would need a fishing licence. You can get fishing licences in Wal-Mart or any tackle shop. Or online from http://myfwc.com/fishingareas.html
