I hope this will make you feel better. Recently the weather in my mind has been awful. It's either been inches and inches of rain or temperatures in the late 90s to early 100s which is way too hot for me and my kids. Park lines (as confirmed by my kids - and more recently myself at MGM this weekend) have been a joke. Certain rides at MGM were two hours long in that heat! Then when that wasn't bad enough the heavens opened on us suddenly and absolutely drenched us!

I can think of far better times to be in Florida than right in the middle of July-August, which in my opinion is the worst time to be here for a number of reasons...traffic, too many tourists, hot/rainy weather, absurd waiting lines at the parks...I could go on....

Everyone that moves to FL from up here treats the FL summer like they do winter.....its the time to stay indoors.....do up the house......and think like there is 4ft of snow outside.....then have spring and fall as summer....

Mucho commiserations, This year we had to cancel the day before travel due to a close relative being gravely ill. Hopefully the insurance will pay up. We have also booked up for next year!! Now all we have to do is watch the countdown timer for another 11 months.
