[msnsad] Today we should have flown to Florida [msnsad] As many of you may recall we had booked for four weeks flying out 30th July, but due to our business getting a large contract starting in August we had to postpone in till next July[msnsad]

What made it even worse was seeing the Virgin flight take off this morning from our back garden[msnsad]

Don't know if we can wait till next July. we are thinking maybe we should bring it forward and go at Easter.

    I feel really fed up[msncry]

I am totally impressed that the Virgin flight took off from your back garden. You must have some lawnmower Lucy!

Don't worry - it'll be all the sweeter when you do actually get there.

Definately try for Christmas, especially if you haven't already been. We took our lads out of school two days early, they weren't doing anything the last week anyway! This made the flights nearly half the price of actually in the school holiday and allowed us to get just over two weeks in. It was really magical, go on you know you would love it, spoil yourself.

You must be really disappointed, but at least you can plan it all again!!

I have never been for Christmas because my husband cannot take the time off because of his business.

Hopefully he will be able to retire soon and we will be able to get out and do all the things I have read about on the forum!!

We have transfered the flights over to July 15th 2006, but not booked the villa yet, but Im seriously thinking we should go at Easter as we could do 3 weeks without the little ones missing too much school[msnwink]

If they are very little ones I don't think it matters

My suggestion;2 weeks at Christmas and 2 weeks in August;something to look forward to when you are working hard

When we started our own business,I quickly learned to factor in holiday times that were sacrosanct, otherwise you never stop!

HI Julie I can understand why you are fed up today but just remember when all those people have returned from their holiday and are back to the day to day toil you still have yours to look forward to and you can never put enuogh thought into planning a Florida holiday. Also after the success of this business deal you will need a good holiday . If you really get desperate for a wee Florida break I was looking up Aer lingus website for November and there were terrific bargains , I was tempted but thank goodness my husband is the practical one in our house ,also he muttered something about unpaid visa bills . Julie I hope your businessprospers and when the holiday comes have a ball.

Julie never mind, your hols will soon come round and look at all the extra money you are making, that you will be able to send on your next visit. Why not try a small visit for Christmas or New Year,we are going for New Year and have also never been at this time of year.

I would definately book for Christmas, you will feel a whole lot better for it and just think when most of us will be freezing cold in December you will be enjoying the warm sunshine in Florida [8D] [msncool]
