    Restaraunt opening

    Hey guys,

I just wanted to get some feedback. I am opening a restaraunt right by Daytona Beach which will consist of whats called a
'Garbage Plate'. I dont belive that there is anything like it in florida. Consists of cheese bugers with macaroni salad, home fries, and hot sauce. Have you guys ever heard of such a place? We will be opening next month. Thanks in advance for any feedback

I'm still not sure if this is a serious request or a wind-up...I think the term "garbage plate" would put a lot of people off - I know I would not like it. The food you are proposing is avbailable in just about any restaurant in Florida - how is it going to be unique?

Seems like a blatant advert to me, but perhaps I am getting cynical in my old age!

I have to say garbage plate by name or the items mentioned give me all the information I need - to avoid the place.

I would say that you should spend the next month doing a bit more market research before offering this sort of menu, it seems like it is going to have very limited appeal with neither the name or ingredients exactly appetising to the palate.

We have places like that in NY and NJ but it's not called Garbage Plates. It seems like a bit of Southern Cuisine which I really like with the homefries, hot sauces and such. If I come across your place out there in Daytona and the place is packed I'd stop in and check it out. [8D]
