We take a disabled friend occasionally and were told by thr sheriff that this was in order
Certainly he found everything much easier than in England

we have talked about this before, hope this helps, i have asked before directly to whoever it was and they sent back and said "yes" to us using blue badges over there[msnwink]

Disabled facilities tend to be a lot better in the USA than in the UK, so you should have no problems at all.
I've never had any problems at all using my blue disabled badge-although it's different from the american one-it certainly is recognised.
(Now finding a space nearest the entrance to anything-now that can be a problem-lol!)

we have never had a problem getting a disabled space near to the entrance! but then we dont go at the height of the "season"

Yes, you can use it.
Thanks guys for your input!!
Does anyone know if it is still ok to use a blue disabled badge? I have a guest asking if he can use his as he's heard that restaurants and shops don't recognise the blue badge(unlike the theme parks) and that he'll have to get a US one when he gets to Florida.
Many thanks
Kim
