Hi Terminal 3

Hi has anyone flown from terminal three manchester before. Normally we fly from terminal two but my parents are flying with american airlines and are flying from terminal three. Whats the terminal like compared to terminal two. We are taking them to the airport and want to stop for breakfast with them. Is it possible or want to allowed through. I know terminal one is like that and only flying passengers are allowed through. Any one help me please. We have also heard now that as soon as you enter the airport you have to take along your passport even if you arent flying. Is that correct. thanks rebekah

Its the BA terminal. Its very nice but not many facilities until you go through security then there are shops and eateries, just a Costa Coffee before that, although it is linked to T1 so you could walk through thats land side not airside[msnwink]

I took my daughter to T3 last week and did not get asked for my passport [msnscared]

As Mach 2 says, T3 is linked to T1 in such a way that unless you pay close attention you aren't actually aware when you leave one and enter the other. There are plenty of the facilities you are looking for in T1 without having to go airside.

Yes in T1 you have a Garfunkels on the mezz level that does breakfast[msnwink]
