Can anyone tell me what the price of compact flash cards are in Florida. I am tempted to buy one over here before I go but am wondering how the prices compare.

Amazon.com show a Sandisk 1Gb CF card for $73 and a 512Mb card for $40.
By comparison I've just (literally this week) bought an extra 1Gb flash card (Sandisk) from BlueUnplugged. Their price is around £55 http://www.blueunplugged.com/Product...lash_Card.aspx
They also do the 512Mb card for £30 and the 2Gb card for £110.
There is a small price difference although it depends a lot on the shipping costs, so personally I would buy one in the UK, get the product I want from a brand-name that I trust and not have the hassle of spending hours driving from store to store to compare prices in Florida.
Kingston 1GB Compact Flash Card was £45.82 now just £39.99 at Dabs.com. This is a UK supplier and this is a current offer due to expire very soon.

I've bought one from Crucial as they are one of the best makes I've used. £25 for 512M
We use ebuyer, but make sure they are in stock before you order.
As delays can mean you pay for the item weeks before you get it.
I waited 6 weeks for a512mb xd card earlier in the year and the frustrating thing was, we could not speak with anyone to find out where it was.
Used since and the service is superb!!
Just one of those things!!

Great point there!!! Ebuyer are great for price etc... but their customer service even online is non-existant.
