    texasdebrazil

    Hi everyone

any idea what type of price we would be expected to pay for a family of 7 including 1 child of 6 eating at the texasdebrazil. We have heard its very nice for a special occasion. We have heard a few people mention the Grand Floridian but that we will prove too much for my parents. Its their 50th anniversary whilst we are away in August. A rough idea of price would be appreciated if anyone has been their with their families for special occasions. The website does show the prices.

    any thanks

Texas De Brazil is around $50 a head (?) without drinks, think you have to pay for dessert too, I rarely eat dessert so you would have to check this. It is not in the same league as the Grand Floridian though it is a very nice place...our favourite. (I paid $400 in T deB or so for a meal/drinks for 5 recently).

Victoria and Alberts in the GF is a really special place for this sort of celebration but that comes in around $90 a head without drink but the service is impecable, Wedgewod China and fine food.

Our bill was around $440 for 6 people... we didn't go over board with the drink. Food was fantastic and well worth every penny at around £40 per head (at the time).

If you go to the Texas de Brazil website and join their "e-club" they send you a joining discount voucher, mine expired a couple of weeks later, so don't join until you want to use it.
Since joining I have received a discount voucher for Father's day (I think 25%)
Last week I received a voucher valid 1st to 31st July 2005 50% discount on the main course only (not desserts, drinks, lobster, A la Carte), for e-club members dining BEFORE 6.30pm or AFTER 8.30pm for up to 8 people.
The voucher is usable as many times as I want.
Presumably more e-mailed vouchers will arrive during the coming months.

Good advice there. I have seen their website before but never thought about this. I just remember thinking how professional it was. Going to try to visit some other locations in the future as some of them are even more impressive that the one in Orlando!
