I have just watched Live 8 with Pink Floyd together after 23 years - it was truly amazing[msncool]
We are lucky enough to have a big screen and projector in our lounge with some B & W speakers so the evening was truly awesome[msnwink]

Me too Pamela and Lucy. My Pioneer is shaking the walls with Linkin Park even as I type this.
Robbie was terrific he is such a true showman, and The Who - wow!!![msnsmile2]
Brilliant - Madonna and Robbie, loved them. Turned the volume up so high and sang along with them.
Just when I had got used to Pink Floyd not touring anymore they go and remind me what we are all missing. I have the Pulse Live 'Comfortably Numb' on my ipod and get some funny looks from flight attendants and fellow passengers when I feebly attempt to sing along during flights.
Maybe I need to grow up.
Thoroughly enjoyed the day, was glued to it from mid afternoon.
The highlights for me were Annie Lennox, Madonna and Robbie Williams they were real showmen(/persons!!)
I was so impressed with The Who, most definately rocking with them. I have to confess that I nodded off during Pink Floyd's contribution though.
A great day, and as Miss Dynamite said, if that number of people were dying daily in the UK, we would certainly have done something about it already.
Let's hope they can agree on something other than throwing money at the problems there.
