was anybody on mytravel last friday

flew back last friday Sandford to Manchester on Mytravel 052, good flight only took 8 hours.
It was marred only by the last half hour or so by a loud , drunk sewer mouthed cow. She was threatening a women in front of her, telling her child she would have to make her ******* mind who she was ghoing to live with her or her ******* dad over and over again ( I know who I'd choose)
A few people tried to reason with her to no avail, i even tried myself after glancing over at my 5 year old, who had a blanket wrapped around her head to block out the swearing[msnmad][msnmad].
When I pointed out I had young children within earshot her defence was,"so have I" ....
On landing a steward came over, he initially tokk her side after she said the other women was having a go at her, but after he got the real story he did say she'd get arrested if she didn't calm down.
I must hold my hand up, I did fill him in with some of the details , while she was there, in the hope it would fire her up again and she would get arrested.

to that "lady" if you are on this forum. you are a disgrace and a terrible parent.

We also had this on a flight to Italy. The lady was telling another mother to tell her baby to stop crying and if she did not she would not be held accountable for her actions. At which point about 10 people sat around her got involved.

The steward did handle the situation very well and after being told she would get arrected on landing shut up.

I did feel sorry for the lady who's baby did not stop crying (it did drive us all mad) but as it is young they can't help it.

One thing that drives me mad is the use of Language like that in front of Children. Why did it take so long for a member of staff to get involved?

have mentioned before my hubby got into a ding dong on the virgin flight a couple of years ago, when the guy in front put his seat back quickly, it upset our daughter she wears glasses has very bad eyes anyway, hubby didnt swear just slightly raised his voice in defence of his child who was then just 14, and he was threatened with being arrested at the airport he apologised to the steward for being angry but was defending his child as this mans behaviour was horrid (i know it may seem that my hubby was horrid, but wouldnt any one of you look out for your kids when made to cry by an older man who shouldve known better)
he only had to ask but he had such an attitude about it, it wound us right up!!!
always the younger generation being picked on by older folks!!! she hadnt done anything other then cry cos she was uncomfortable with the seat back on her!!!

I know seats are meant to recline for comfort, but i have never put my seat back even on long haul flights. I hate when the person in front does it to me so therefore would not do it to others!!

People reclining seats without a thought for anyone else but themselves make my blood boil. I am forced to lean my book on the top of their headrest as otherwise I find it hard to focus on as there is not enough room left to get it far enough away from my eyes.

Also make sure you ask the cabin crew to insist they raise their seats while you eat you meal.
