American Express Travellers Cheque Card?

Anyone used the AE Card instead of the normal travellers cheque?

ANy good?

And does it get accepted everywhere?

I did see a special offer the other day which when you first buy/use it then you get something like a 50 euro credit which would cover some of the cost of buying but I dont know if there is any offers on dollars.
