    Gerrarde,

I would still bring the suntan cream. If my experiences are anything to go by I would take a lot of these reports with a pinch of salt (long range ones). Things happen in the meantime, changes of wind direction etc. so you can't be sure what 10 days ahead is like.

I am a mountain leader and study weather with interest, there are so many factors that can cause good and bad weather, in Florida at this time of year the humidity and being very hot tends to bring wet weather.

Having said that I have been in July for my honeymoon and we only had 3 showers in 14 days.

I would rather you had bad weather now and good when you get there.

I'd rather be in Florida on a rainy day than England on a sunny one

    Enjoy your holiday!

The weather here at present is perfect, we spent the evening in Celebration at the Fourth of July festivities . the fireworks were sensational, and it was so nice to meet people from all over the USA. Off to bed now because tomorrow we plan to visit St.Augustine the oldest city in the USA.

At the Mo the builders are no doubt having a nice break, bet it rains when they try and finish our villa. (sods law!)
