If your accommodation has a security alarm...

If the villa you are staying at has a security alarm which utilises motion sensors, when you leave the villa and set the alarm, have a check round and make sure none of the helium filled balloons can float anywhere near them (shut them in a closet or bedroom with no sensor, otherwise you may find the alarm triggered and the Sheriff on the doorstep. If the alarm is triggered falsely then the authorities can issue a fine so it's best to make double sure before you leave.

No worries Liesa (you can guess what my guests did this week can't you)?

Luckily the Sheriff was fine despite it going off twice within an hour or so and the guests are friends so no grudges will be held, we'd just forgotten to mention it to them.
