I said earlier in this post I would say should I ever not go to Disney on a trip [msneek] I honestly couldn't imagine it, but it has happened, last 2 visits to Florida and NO Disney. It was unexpectedly fine, our daughter is older and we were too busy doing other things[msnwink]Perhaps after 15 years it was time to give ourselves a break? There are already new things to go and see in the parks and we have only missed 1 year!!! Look forward to going again, soon

It does seem unusual when you tell people you have been to Florida and not done Disney.[msnoo]
But in the summer, me and the kids were out for 6 weeks and in that time did the parks twice and the water park once, Just got back from a week at half term and did the Disney watepark once.
We promised ourselves we would explore around Orlando on our last visit, and we still haven't done all we wanted to do, maybe on our xmas visit.
As we now have annual passes, we tend to pop in and out a lot more than spend a full day there.

We tend to do the same thing with our passes.
We sometimes just treat it as a nice place to just wander about in especially at Christmas when all the decorations are up and the Christmas music is being piped through the speakers.
There is something about the Disney parks that make them a little more special in atmosphere than the others even though the rides are defintely more of a thrill at Universal etc..
If we went back again in the heat of the summer we've talked about not doing the parks in the heat but I'm not sure we could go all that way and not do them when they are on our doorstep
Two places we never seem to make it to are Busch and one of the beaches....maybe this trip
