You can now use what used to be your switch cards, as long as they have a MasterCard or Visa symbol and are chip and pin. I was there recently and used my bank card just like i do at home. If you draw cash out of the bank you get charged a flat £1.50.

The Post Office is usually a good rate for changing cash and also Marks and Spencer tend to have good rates too.
