My godparents use to breed Boxers and it was from them that we had two white boxers when I was a kid. In those days breeders use to put down white boxer puppies as they could not be shown, but they were against this and gave them to us. We had a male and a female, great pets and very affectionate.

I have also been breeding boxers for over 20 years, I show and judge as well. My very first litter had a white which was culled and it broke my heart , but they are really popular now and the only time they are put to sleep is if they are deaf or/and blind ( that is why they started culling them not because they couldn't be shown ) but later it was found that only a few of them were deaf and blind and usualy if they were pure white , if they had a patch of colour even if it was a tiny one they are usualy OK.

pleased to hear that. Both of mine had a brown patch on one ear. They both had good vision and hearing, this by the way was 40 years ago(good grief. didn't realise it was that long ago),I was only a youngster.
