    restuarants 50th wedding anniversary

    Hi there

Are there any decent english restuarants anyone could recommend for a 50th Anniversary meal. We are coming to Orlando in august and staying in the sanctuary and would like somewhere close by if possible. Children in party and a veggy. Any recommendations.[msnwink]

For me a 50th anniversary at the Grand Floridian would be great. The Gala buffet in the evening would mean that all the party could choose whatever they fancied.
I am sure the happy couple would love to be serenaded by the pianist at the grand piano in that beautiful atrium.

There are lots of great places but I think this might be so nice.

I agree if its just a couple but for a family group I think V and A is a bit $$$$$$$ and formal.
The buffet price at the Floridian is about $28 adults $13 for children. The buffet is good with veggie choices and the chef will talk you through ingredients if you are not sure what is suitable.
Cinderella and Prince Charming and the fairy godmother are around but if you are not the character type they only spend as much time as you show interest.
Don't forget to watch the water pageant after the meal if you finish in time.

We are also at WestHaven and we often go to The Bahama Breeze on Vineland Ave, Lake Buena Vista, for special occassions. Take exit 68 off I-4 ( just 10 miles from where you are). They do "call ahead seating" for large parties which is useful as not many places do it.
You can check their website at www.bahamabreeze.com. [^]

Also, depending on how much you like your food, you can choose a half portion or a full portion from the main courses. We like this idea as you are not overfaced when the food arrives and believe me, I find the smaller portion quite enough - particularly the pasta dishes!![msneek]
