like someone else said, if they are selling you a ticket than you will make the connection unless there is a delay due to weather etc, if u couldnt possibly make the connection under normal circumstances then u could possibly sue them for false advertising etc. any connection time over 50 mins is usualy ok.

Connections are generally OK if the plane is not delayed. Don't want to put a spanner in the works but 50 mins is too close for comfort for me.

I fly out of heathrow all the time and planes can often get delayed for 30 mins on the taxiways. I think most airlines add this into their overall flight times though.

If it is the same comapany genaraly they would put you on the next flight, for me I had to pay.

You should be fine as my flight was easyjet (delayed) onto Ryanair. Ryanair said nothing they could do and I had to re-book flight to get on the next one.

When you arrive at Orlando you can also save time by going to baggage reclaim area, leave the family and there and nip down to the next floor and sort out your car hire before your bags come through.

It is on the floor below and really saves time.

Just got a quote of £359, to fly out on 28/3/06 for 3 weeks, which I reckon is a pretty good price.

    My problems are
1, It's with US Airways, I know absolutely nothing about them.
2, If I do book this will be the first time we've ever had to transfer between flights, I know nothing at all about transfers.

I've got everything on hold until Monday and I suppose I'm looking for some reassurances from people on here before I go ahead.
So come on folks should I book it or look elsewhere?

    Hi Mick-H

I have used US Airways twice now from Manchester - Philidelphia - Orlando Return. I paid around £300 in March this year direct with them. Are you speaking direct with US Airways as if not you might want to.

Theres nothing wrong with US Airways that I can tell you about as they have been great with me both times we have used them. Very friendly, you should get your own TV Screens and controls nice food (well plane food American Style and lots of bags of Pretsels). We on both trips into Philidelphia were given a video to watch to tell us what to do and where to go in the connecting airport. They make it very simple for you and if you get into trouble those friendly Americans are only to pleased to help you. While waiting for your connection flight at Philli theres a top Wine Bar around Gates 18, 19 & 20 where you can enjoy a nice cool beer and some food.

This flight and connection we used got us to Orlando approx 8.30pm.

Hope this helps, need anymore info just DM me
