We are going to Florida in September, but the kids love Paris too.

The Disneyland Hotel is right next to the park gates, and is a lovely place to stay. You are straight out of the hotel and into the park. The Studios are just opposite the hotel too.

Last time we took my niece too and she loved seeing Mickey and Minnie inside the hotel. Sometimes the characters serve inside the hotel shops too.

We've spent Christmas there too, and the hotel is decorated beautifully, also a bonus of the Disneyland Hotel is that character breakfasts are inclusive in the stay.

When we first stayed at Paris, we stayed in the Newport Bay Hotel but this isn't a patch on the Disneyland Hotel, but the Hotel New York is ok.

The handy thing about Paris is that it's only an hour's flight away for us, or if you go on Eurostar it's 2 hours from Ashford, and the station is very near to the hotels.

Florida is top of our list even after many visits, but a dream ticket would be to Tokyo.

We live in Kent so it's incredibly easy to catch the train to Disneyland Paris, and have to agree that the Disneyland Hotel is the way to go. I would imagine the various parks all have their own personalities and quirks.......one thing I don't like is the price of things in Paris...far too expensive!

If you go to Disneyland Paris by train and stay in one of the Disney hotels the great thing is your luggage is taken from you at the station and delivered to your hotel. You can get off the train and go straight into the park. On your day of departure you leave the luggage at the hotel and they take it down to the station so you can go off and enjoy your last day in the park. Characters are usually at the station to greet you - great start.

Been to Florida & Paris - Florida wins hands down!

The good thing about Paris is that it's close and we can go for a weekend - but that jibbering Robot on Star Tours is enough to make you scream [:O]

Been to Paris and Orlando, I went to Paris first and I thought it was great but then I went to Orlando and thought absolutely amazing, to be honest I couldn't ever see going to any other parks other thean Orlando now, nothing compares and I would be just making comparisons all the time and saying its good but not a patch on Orlandos parks.

Been to Florida & California, California is OK but Florida is just so much bigger & better and lots of other things to do within a reasonable distance. Have no desire to go to Paris[msnwink]
