    Somewhere to shower and change??!!

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for us - our flight home doesn't leave Orlando til 9pm but we will be out of the villa we have booked at 10am on 9th July. We are going to use Virgins Downtown checkin so we won't have to carry our luggage about all day and we have plenty ideas of places we want to spend our last day but we would love somewhere to perhaps have a shower and get changed in before our late flight home. Does anyone know of anywhere that we can change and shower before we leave?? We plan to have a nice meal somewhere as well before the flight but would love to freshen up after such a long day in the heat [msnembarrased].

We have already checked with the villa owner to see if we could stay in the villa a bit longer but unfortunatey they have a booking coming in that evening so unable to help.

    Any Ideas??[confused]

Just had a thought which might sound a bit cheeky but maybe if there are villa owners out there who could give us a shot of their villa for the day - we would pay a nights hire amount of course - it would be great to be able to use the pool etc and then shower before we leave for home ?[?][msnwink]

The only issue with renting out for a day is that it would have to include a clean as well so it could be quite pricey for a day. What about the Hyatt at the airport, I know they have a gym so I would presume they would have showers and changing area as well.

Does the villa community where you are staying have a communal pool area? If so there may be changing facilities/showers there.

Alternatively, if you have a ticket for the Disney waterparks, use this on your last day, or try Wet N Wild. You can have a relaxing day and use the shower facilities and lockers.

    The waterpark idea sounds great!

But the villa option is obviously better.
Hope some one could help you out.

The water park is the best idea, especially if you have youngsters. You can hire towels so only need to carry your swimsuits and change of clothes for the flight and then by the time you've had a decent meal and got on the plane they should be exhausted and sleep all the way home.

The trouble with using a villa is, as has been said if you add the cost of a clean at around $75 + 1 nights rental of approx $100 + 13% tax it's an expensive treat.

Not sure if any of the airport lounges are available that may have showers.

Thanks for all your ideas - we have managed to find a villa for the day so we will have a great last day relaxing at the pool and be able to freshen up before heading home.[msnsmile]

    Hi weemac

Glad you have managed to sort things - out of interest, did you find the villa from this site?
