Husband bought one o Thurday from Walmart on the US27 (just off the 192 - kinda new one). It worked out at the equivalent of £160 which was excellent. Was not stocked at all the Walmarts though - you would need to scout about!

If you live near Birmingham the new Apple Store has opened there in the last few months. It's great to go in a browse and try out all the gadgets (if you like that sort of thing).
My daughter bought her I-Pod and doughnut speaker thingy (technical eh!!) on internet, and found they were the same price in B'ham store. Also, I think they have a sale at the moment, but best to check first, you don't want a wasted trip.

iPods have had a further price cut accross the range. The prices will similarly be cut in the USA
I have received an e-mail from BUY.com who have today reduced all the iPods in response, so do check out the current prices when you are over.
