we went to see Neil Diamond last night in Landsdowne road. He was great ,like myself the years are adding up but he is still a superstar. The best part was we got free tickets . His last concert before he returns to the USA is in Bristol on Tuesday night.

Ah Dom Im a great believer in the old saying "The older the fiddle the sweeter the tune ", if he is under 50 he should have his L plates on. All the greats are mature , Paul Mcartney, Mick Jagger , Rod , Sting, and of course Van the Man to mention but a few.

We saw Mark Knopfler last week at the Albert Hall, brilliant and now got our fingers crossed for the Live8 tickets. I have a very old LP of Neil Diamond live, I must dig it out and have a listen sad oldie that I am [msnsmile2].

I saw him in Hull on 22nd May, he was fantastic. It poured down all night which put a bit of a damper on it, concert was outdoors !!!
The only disappointment was that he didnt sing too many of his oldies. Most people go to see Neil Diamond expecting him to run through his hits but a lot of the stuff was new.
However, his voice is still fantastic and my favourite - Love on the Rocks !!!
I think I saw on one of the websites a concert planned for Orlando.
