    Orlando Weather

    Hi Guys

Is the weather really as bad a [name edited] is stating?

If so its raining all day everyday Is this likely to continue for the rest of the month? We leave for our first trip to Orlando in 2 weeks and were getting wed in Clearwater please tell me my wedding isn't going to be on the beach in the rain [msncry]

Worst of all I'm a sun worshiper so was hoping for a good tan to come home with isn't looking very likely is it

Do what? I just looked at the website you quoted (which I've had to edit out) and it says nothing of the sort! [confused]

The 10 day forecast prediction for precipitation (rain) is 30% with one day at 60% so how do you get that it's going to be raining all day every day? The percentage figures are the likelihood (out of 100%, ie 100% is really definite) of having any rain, not how long out of the day the rain's going to last!

The prediction for rain is for tonight so it could be at 3 am and I know for sure (believe me, I'm a home owner) that the sun's definitely not out at that time!

The weather in Florida is tropical which means that, from June - August there's a s possibility of rain each day. It's not usually like rain in the UK, which doesn't know when to stop, it usually only lasts an hour or so and then the sun comes out again.

So, don't panic, I'm sure you'll have a simply fabulous time!

I came back from Florida last Sunday its seem like a month ago
The weather was not as good the last few days
But when it rains its not like in the UK
First the rains warm I like it, I just want to stand outside and fell on my face everyone carries on just the same
Walking around in shorts and teashirts, next minute it's sunny again.
I wouldn't be concern, by the time you go, it will be sunshine all the way

I would not worry about it too much. When it does rain it normally clears up afterwards.

Sometimes a bit of rain is a good thing as in July and Aug it is very hot and humid in the parks.

We find that sometimes it's so warm a nice downpour is just what you need...it's not like the UK grey drizzly rain at all....don't worry I am sure it will be fine even with the odd burst of rain.

Try not to worry, it surely is'nt going to rain all day, every day. It is usually very short lived. Also there are so many things to do in Florida that you won't be stuck for activities anyway even if there is a bit of a downpour. Chloe

Just looked at the weather for the next week and it is the same as it usually is at this time of year, 30% chance of rain with a chance of Thunderstorms in the afternoon. This is normally the forecast for the next 2-3 months, nothing to worry about. I quite like th erain, it's a good excuse to go shopping without missing out on the sun[msnsmile2]

We just arrived back from Florida today and we've had some stunning days over the last two weeks. Yes, we have had some rain, but this is normal for the time of year. We have also had LOTS of sun and it's been upper 80's / lower 90's everyday. I really would not worry about it - I'm sure you will have a great time.
