    Dress Code for Renaissance

I know there are several threads on here about the Sunday Brunch at the Renaissance but no one has covered the point of dress code. Is there a certain requirement with regard to attire? I wouldn't turn up in casual shorts & T shirt, but I also don't want to look over dressed.

    Smart casual is fine

You certainly would not get let in if you wore shorts and a T-shirt!!!

    Chris,
I agree with the "smart casual" reply, however I don't usually take any long trousers to Florida unless we go in the Winter months and I think it may be chilly there. Have been to the Renaissance a few times wearing smart cargo shorts and casual short sleeved shirt and not had any problems. Dress code seems to be the same as for most
reputable restaurants. Haven't seen any evidence that they frown on
shorts as long as they are clean and tidy.

Now Guys, own up and tell him the truth, you have to wear Mickey Ears to get in, don't show him up
Only joking - a pair of beige shorts and a polo shirt or open necked shirt is fine.

Me too Lucy, but I don't care what people think I like to dress up and do including lipstick powder and paint, also matching shoes and bag of course. [laugh]

I agree totally Cruella , I too like to dress up put on the warpaint and look well . When we go to the celebration Sunday brunch it may take me longer to get ready than the time we spend there but so what its a special occasion and well worth the effort . Anyway once in awhile its nice to get away from the shorts and teeshirt look.
