Virgin Twilight Checkin

Hi
We will be using Virgin Twilight Checkin in a couple of weeks at Gatwick Can anyone tell me where it is?

Do we just go to Departures and is it a normal Virgin check-in desk.

Only 18 days to go!!!

Hi Karen, we used twilight checkin last December and unless its changed you go to the virgin desk i think it says twilight checkin (well hubby thinks it does) it was very easy and so good!!! we did as we are only in Brighton 35 mins away

We are stopping over at Gatwick the night before, but still thought it would be easier to get rid of the cases. Not so much luggage to think about the next morning and I like the fact that you don't have to be at the airport quite so early either.

when we used it last xmas it was the desk on the far left as you look at the Virgin desks.
Huge crowds as we arrived which was a worry but they were all in the "normal" check in quee for the Nigeria flight. Twilight check in took us 10 minutes.

I am disappointed as we will not get to Gatwick until after 10pm on our next visit so we will miss the Twilight check in this time. I think I will try checking in online before we leave Scotland this time. Is this service as good?

Hi Ruth, we are the same. I phoned Virgin and the girl told me to check in online the day before, and then turn up no later than 60 mins before check in. I reckon we will be there before that though.[msnwink]

We have used the virgin twilight checkin before, and it is a godsend when you have small kids and are stopping over. Only word of advice is if you are flying out of Miami (firstly don't as it is a nightmare airport, secondly watch out for police on the perimiter road as they stop everyone for minor driving violations!!) Virgin twilight checkin does not operate from Miami airport (wasn't October last year anyway)
